Health Plan Of San Joaquin (HPSJ) Spreads The Word
Summer Learning & Summer Eating For Local Kids

(French Camp, CA) – “No parent or child should ever worry about food security,” said Health Plan of San Joaquin Health Educator Setar Testo. “When it comes to school, good nutrition is vital for learning, every day and all year long.” Testo added.

During the school year, most children who need food get free or reduced-price lunches at school. But, what are they supposed to do when school is out for the summer?

This is where San Joaquin County and Stanislaus County come in. They are making sure that no kid goes hungry in the summer.

Many schools in Stanislaus and San Joaquin offer free breakfast or lunch for kids all summer. For a list of sites visit:

At HPSJ, we wish for every child to have a healthy, nutritious summer.
