CalOptima is a county organized health system that administers health insurance programs for more than 550,000 members in Orange County, including low-income families, children, seniors and people with disabilities. CalOptima was created in 1993 by the Orange County Board of Supervisors to ensure the delivery of quality health care services to local residents.
