Gold Coast Health Plan Appoints New Executive Director
Local Medi-Cal Plan Hires Government, Regulatory and External Relations Executive

CAMARILLO, Calif., Jan. 25, 2016 – Gold Coast Health Plan (GCHP) announced the selection of Ralph Oyaga as its new executive director for government, regulatory and external relations. Mr. Oyaga fills the newly created executive director position after a regional search and will join GCHP’s executive management team beginning Monday, Jan. 25.

“I am truly excited to make this announcement,” said GCHP chief executive officer Dale Villani. “Ralph will help lead GCHP community engagement and collaboration initiatives and will assist in building strong relationships with key external officials and agencies at the local, state and federal levels.”

Mr. Oyaga brings extensive experience in health care, government relations, business development and legal/regulatory oversight.  His experience includes leadership positions at LA Care Health Plan, City of Hope Medical Foundation and Pacific Clinics in Arcadia, CA.
