L.A. Care Leads Coalition of Medicaid Health Plans to Raise Health Care Bill Concerns with U.S. Senate

Los Angeles — L.A. Care Health Plan has partnered with nine other Medicaid health plans from across the nation to urge the U.S. Senate to carefully consider the policy proposals being debated, which will adversely impact the 74 million mothers, children, seniors and people with disabilities who are currently covered by Medicaid (Medi-Cal in California). Further, the coalition has suggested several compassionate alternatives to the severe cuts being proposed.

L.A. Care, along with the undersigned organizations, is prepared to provide expertise, data, and original ideas on how to improve the Medicaid program.
