- Program oversight and regulation — roles and functions of the Department of Health Care Services (DHCS) and Department of Managed Health Care (DMHC)
- The transformation of Medi-Cal managed care — changes that advance DHCS’ ambitious health care goals
- How recent state and federal actions will impact Medi-Cal managed care, local plans and their members — Unsatisfactory Immigration Status (UIS) population, H.R. 1, waivers

Bradley P. Gilbert, MD, MPP
Consultant and former CEO of Inland Empire Health Plan
Dr. Bradley Gilbert has more than 30 years of experience in public health and managed care leadership. He previously served as the Director of the California Department of Health Care Services and as Chief Executive Officer at Inland Empire Health Plan (IEHP), a managed care plan serving more than 1 million members in California’s Riverside and San Bernardino Counties. Prior to IEHP, Dr. Gilbert served as the Director of Public Health/Health Officer for San Mateo and Riverside Counties, leading positive changes for public health care in those communities. He also has clinical and leadership experience in jail medicine and substance use disorder treatment centers, as well as with Kaiser Permanente and private practice.

^ The plan registration option is available only for plans who wish to invite staff to view the webinar together in the same location (i.e., conference or other meeting room). This option is not available for groups who wish to use the same access link to view the webinar from different locations.

Registration Confirmation: Registrants will receive two emails — a registration confirmation email and a separate email that contains access information for the webinar.
Participating in the Webinar: You will only need a computer with an updated web browser (Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, Mozilla Firefox or Safari are recommended). Participants may opt to listen to the webinar via telephone or mobile device.
Cancellation Policy: Cancellation notification must be submitted in writing to institute@lhpc.org seven or more days prior to the course date. Refunds will not be given after that date. Substitutions are encouraged. Payment will be due for registered individuals that do not attend or participate in the event, and for which a cancellation notice is not received.
