Adrian Arce brings both deep personal caring and analytical, data-driven insight to his role as Chief Executive Officer. During his 14 year tenure at Community Health Group, Adrian quickly rose through the organization by demonstrating his  commitment to CHG members and providers, and to its mission to ensure timely access to high quality health care and exceptional levels of member service and experience.

Adrian served first as a Quality Assurance Analyst, a Quality Improvement Coordinator and since 2021 as Director of Claims Administration, soon after adding Member Services to his responsibilities. In that dual role he led a team of more than 250 employees across departments including Claims, Member Services, Transportation, HEDIS, Provider Services, Enrollment, and Timely Access. His leadership led to significant gains in claims turnaround times through the introduction of advanced technology to boost accuracy and efficiency. His initiatives helped CHG earn recognition as one of California’s Top Medi-Cal plans for HEDIS performance.

Beyond operational excellence, he spearheaded initiatives that led to  strengthened relationships, greater member satisfaction, and member and provider engagement. As a leader who came up through CHG‘s ranks, Adrian inspires the company’s more than 400 employees to also strive for greater engagement with the community, whether that be with  our more than 350,000 members, our providers, community clinics, and other stakeholders inside and outside the company.

When his appointment as only the third Chief Executive Officer in CHG’s 44-year long history was announced by the Board of Directors in August of 2025, Adrian began introducing himself to hundreds of other leaders in health care and the larger community.

Bilingual in English and Spanish, he received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and Public Policy from San Diego State University and his Master’s of Business Administration in Organizational Leadership from National University, San Diego. Adrian Arce  began his tenure as CEO of Community Health Group on January 1, 2026.
